It’s definitely summer! The heat has been in full force, and the summer fruits have made their presence in farmer’s markets and grocery stores! I actually baked this Summer Market Galette more than a month ago as part of a Tuesdays with Dorie post, but I missed both post dates (procrastination)! On the bright side, I’m still posting this while it’s still summer!
This week’s Tuesdays with Dorie recipe is for Apple Pielettes. These are tiny pies that are baked in muffin tins that have a nice buttery crust and great flavor inside and out. This is a pretty basic recipe; the part that took a little time was chilling the dough in different stages of the pie-making process.
It’s a little bit of a late post, but I made this Fresh Strawberry Pie for pi day (3.14.15).
